Congratulations: Baby Cards

Hi!! Today, I have a couple of pretty simple baby cards to share!! I created them for a couple of friends who are due to have babies soon.

The baby bottle shaped cards were so easy to make with the Too Cute By Jessica: Baby Gift set cut files. This set also had a cute little baby shoe as well!!

Once I cut the bottle pieces out, I then inked the sides with coordinating inks. I also added white gel faux stitching.

These adorable babies with accessories come from Peachy Keen Stamps: PK-208 Hey Baby set.

I stamped and paper pieced her and all the accessories. I outlined her hair with a Copic Maker and chalked her cheeks.

I created him just like her except I put his face lower due to his hat.

I added recollection pearls to each of their onesie.

The sentiment comes from Peachy Keen's PKSC-17 May 2013. It is stamped on a die cut label from My Creative Time.

The heart die cut is also from My Creative Time and the ribbon is from JoAnn's.

The white card stock I embossed with the Cuttlebug's Welcome Baby (boy) and  Cross my Heart (girl) folders.

Thanks for stopping by and happy creating!!

PKC 13-26 : Anything Goes

Happy Friday!! Are you ready for a brand new Peachy Keen Stamp Challenge? We hope so because this week's challenge is Anything Goes!! You can create whatever you want but you must use Peachy Keen Stamps on your creations in order to win!

Please visit the Peachy Keen Stamp Challenge Blog to see the other DT members amazing projects for inspiration and please don't forget to leave them some love!!

Here is my creation: A Candy Treat Birthday Box

My design team sister Tanya Adams at Nona's Craft Corner is always making these cute little treat boxes and so I tried my hand at one.

The candy tube box is a cut file from SVG Cutting Files. I extended the back of the box just like Tanya does on hers. She has made the cutest space treat box and hula girl one even.

The adorable little girl is also a cut file from SVG Cutting files. After I cut all of her pieces out, I embossed her hair with a folder from Tim Holtz called Swirls. I then went over the raised areas with a Copic marker to make them stand out more. Her face comes from PK-1320 In the Garden Faces. I inked her cheeks with chalking ink and added freckles. The little jewel in her hair comes from Recollections.

The file came with a cupcake you could cut out but I used a PK stamp instead. The cupcake comes from Peachy Keen's PKSC-04 April 2012. I stamped and paper pieced it. I then shaded the bottom with a Copic marker and added white gel pen accents. On the top I added a bit of clear glitter.

The candle was stamped and colored from Peachy Keen's PK-106 With a Cherry On Top.

The sentiment was stamped from PK-162 Fruit Sentiments One. The die cut it is stamped on is from My Creative time.

The balloon faces were cut from a KaDoodle Bug Designs file called Birthday Party Kids. I added gel pen stitching to each one.

The green and white balloon faces both come from Peachy Keen's PK-1320 In the Garden. The green face was supposed to look like it is trying to blow out the candle.

The yellow balloon face comes from Peachy Keen's PK-1200 The Moodies.

The red balloon faces comes from Peachy Keen's PK-127 Sandwhich Fun.

The light blue, orange, and blue balloon faces all come from the Peachy Keen's PKSC-18 June Stamp of the
Month set. The light blue one I added a smiling mouth from the Moodies

My friend was having a birthday and Haribo Gummy Bears are her favorite!! I thought they would make the perfect ingredient for this treat box.

After I filled the tubes with gummy bears, I hot glued the balloons to them. Then I put the strings to make it look like she is holding them with the other hand. All the twine is from American Crafts.

The red card stock is from Recollections and the cupcake paper I'm not quite sure who makes it.

Thank you for stopping by!!

Happy creating and stamping!! Looking forward to seeing all of your creations!!

Popsicle Cards

Hi! Happy first official day of SUMMER!!!
Today, I am sharing these adorable Popsicle cards. My kids just love Popsicles in the summer time. They are a great cool treat. So I thought these cards would be great to create for the summer.

I created the base of the card using KaDoodle Bug Designs: Ice Cream Bar cut file. On each one, I inked the sides with coordinating Colorbox inks and added white gel pen faux stitching.

The inside layer I colored with a coordinating Copic Marker and then put clear glitter on top.

The drips were stamped with Peachy Keen's PK-222 Happy-Go-Lucky Elephant using VersaMark embossing ink and then I put Stampabilites Pearl White embossing powder on it.  I colored them in with a coordinating Copic marker and put clear glitter on top of them as well.

Lastly, I added jewels from Recollections on the side.

How cute is this little penguin?! I just love him with his shades.

The adorable penguin comes from KaDoodle Bug Designs: Coolin' and Chillin'

I first stamped on a face from Peachy Keen's PK-520 Winter Faces, however, I decided he needed his summertime shades that I added Glossy Accents to. I also added white gel pen accents.

I shrunk down a Popsicle from the Ice Cream bar cut file and added glitter to it.

The cherries he is holding come from Peachy Keen's PK-239 Faceless Fruit. As are all the fruit on the Popsicles. I stamped on their faces from Peachy Keen's PK-180 Erkle and Merkle Face Assortment.

The sentiment comes from Peachy Keen's PK-162 Fruit Sentiments One. I stamped it on a die cut from My Creative Time: Vintage Label.

The scallop the fruit is on, was cut with my Cricut @ 2" and the circle was cut @ 1.75". I also added clear glitter to the scallop on each one.

The cute apples's face comes from Peachy Keen's PK-293 The Cornies face assortment.

The sentiment also comes from Peachy Keen's Fruit Sentiments One.

To create the lemon (which is not on the faceless fruit set) I stamped two halves of the peach. I think it turned out pretty darn good. Then I just stamped and paper pieced the leaves from the cherries.

The face comes from Peachy Keen's PK-1320 In the Garden Face Assortment.

The sentiment comes from Peachy Keen's PK-164 Fruit Sentiments Two.

The strawberry face comes from Peachy Keen's PK-660 Laughy Taffy Face Assortment

The sentiment comes from Peachy Keen's Fruit Sentiments One.

The orange faces come from Peachy Keen's PK-1200 The Moodies Face Assortment.

The sentiment comes from Peachy Keen's Fruit Sentiments Two.

The Paper is all Colorbok.
The Ribbon is from American Crafts
The Glitter is from Creatology
The inks are from Memento and Colorbox.

Thanks A Melon

Good morning!! I have a simple thank you card I created for a neighbor. She was so generous to pick my son and I up from the airport so we didn't have to wait 5 hours for my husband. I really appreciated it!

This adorable puppy and watermelon, are cut files from KaDoodle Bug Design's called Picnic Pups by Trina Clark.

I stamped the outside of the watermelon with Market Street Stamp's Here Comes the Sun background stamp. Unfortunately, this stamp is no longer available. The owner is closing down the business and moving onto a new adventure. I wish her the best of luck!! :) You can still find some of her stamps left at half off at Market Street Stamps.com.

The next layer I just added faux stitching.

For the watermelon seeds, I added glossy accents and white gel pen accents.

I finished it off by using a Fiskar's Scallop Punch to make it look like he took a bite out of it.

This adorable puppy face comes from PK-442 Happy-Go-Lucky Dog Face Assortment. I had to use the largest face from the assortment and that one had a bone in it's mouth. So I just carefully didn't put ink on the bone part. I then filled in some teeth on the bottom.

I stamped and paper pieced the eyes. I colored them in with a Hazelnut Copic Marker. I finished by adding glossy accents on top of them.

On his mouth, I added white gel pen accents and added chalk ink to his cheeks. I then also put glossy accents on the nose.

I'm mean really, how cute is that face?!! I just love this assortment.

PK-442 Happy-go-lucky Dog Face Assortment

The card base with circle was cut using my Cricut and Wild Card cartridge at 5.5". I once again added white gel pen faux stitching.

The pattern paper I inked on the side with Colorbox green ink. The paper is from the Paper Studio.

The sentiment comes from PK-Fruit 164 Sentiments 2

PK-164 Fruit Sentiments Two

That's my card!!

Thanks for stopping by and happy creating!!

Graduation Card

Hi!! I finally got a around to creating my cousin a graduation card!! I was going to just buy one but I would rather make her one.

I created the graduate from a cut file from Too Cute By Jessica called Graduation Pals.

I first outlined her hair with a Hazel Copic Marker and then I added white gel pen accents to her clothes/hair/hat.

PK-660 Laughy Taffy Face Assortment

I stamped and paper pieced the mouth from Peachy Keen's PK-660 Laughy Taffy Face Assortment. I then colored in her lips with Natural Lipstick Copic Marker.

The diploma is stamped with numbers from PKSC-08 August 2012 Stamp of the month set. I first used black memento ink on the edges and then tied red/white backer's twine around it.

The sentiment comes from PKSC-16 April 2013 Stamp of the month set. It is stamped onto a die cut from My Creative Time: Vintage Label. I then created a shadow of the die cut using Cricut's Art Philosophy.

The background image behind her was cut at 4x6 from Cricut's Elegant Edges.

The photo corners are an EK Success Punch and the jewels are from Recollections.

Red and White Cardstock: Core' Dinations.

Graduation Paper: Paper Studio.

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Creating!!

Butterfly Shaped: Thank you card

TGIF! Today, I have a shaped card to share with you all! I am really falling in the love with making shaped cards. They are simple and easy!!

I created this super cute butterfly using a cut file from SVG Cutting Files. It's actually a free file you can get from her site called Adorable Butterfly.

I used the cut file to merge two shadow shapes of the butterfly in my design program.

I then cut the parts of the butterfly out and added white gel pen stitching to the body and wings.

Once pieced together, I put glue and then clear glitter on top to make her sparkle.

Here super duper adorable face comes from Peachy Keen's PK-1201 Moodies 1 1/8" face assortment.

PK-1201 The Moodies 1 1/8"

I stamped the face, paper pieced the eyes, and then colored them with the Copic: Blue Robin's Egg. I finished by added chalk ink to her cheeks.

I then popped dotted her face onto the body.

The thank you was stamped from PKSC-13 January 2013 on to a die cut from My Creative Time: Vintage Stitched Label with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.

That is my simple butterfly thank you card!!

Thanks for stopping by!!

Happy Creating!!

I just love how I could create this little beach scene using the new PK stamps!!

The sentiment, beach ball, fish, starfish, octopus, sandcastle, and sun face all come from the new PKSC-18 June 2013 stamp of the month set. This is such a cute set and has so many different stamps to create a great summer project.

The small starfish and beach ball, were stamped and colored in with Copic Markers.

The octopus, large star fish, and sand castle were stamped and paper pieced.

The little surfer boy's face comes from the new PK-1320 In the Garden Face Assortment. I also used this face set on the middle fish.

How cute are these faces?! I just love them!!

This little surfer boy comes from SVG Cutting Files: Surfer Corey. I outlined his hair with a Copic Marker and then added white gel pen accents.

On the surf board, I stamped on the flowers using PK-211 Tropical Floral. I then put clear embossing powder on top to make it stand out more.

The sun with the adorable face from PKSC-18 June 2013 comes from Treasure Box Designs: Sand Box Collection.

The waves are a free cut file from SVGCUTS. The sparkly blue paper is from Recollections.
