Peachy Keen Stamps will be providing an amazing Christmas stamp bundle with a retail value of $150 to one lucky winner!! So exciting!! To be entered to win, you will need to leave a comment on each blog post. The winner will be announced on Monday, December 2nd.

Here is my creation: A pumpkin snowman with an adorable PK face.

Right after Halloween, I went to Wally world to find some pumpkins for this project. I got the two larger pumpkins for $1 each. I got the smaller pumpkin there as well for 60% off. It is a craft decor' pumpkin.

I painted all of them with white acrylic paint.

The neighbor's cats decided they needed to supervise me while I painted.

Would have love to have found the white pumpkins but painting them was the next best thing! :)

For the snowman face, I used PK-1203 The Moodies 4" Face Parts. I just love working with them!!

I stamped and paper pieced the eyes, mouth, and eye brows onto white card stock. I used a Peach Copic marker for the tongue and Real Processed Blue Copic marker for the eyes. I then adhered them with a fast drying adhesive.

I chalked his cheeks with a peachy pink chalk ink.

For his nose, I got some orange polymer molding clay. After I molded it how I wanted it to look, I used a small kitchen knife to create lines on it to give it more of a carrot look. I adhered the nose with a glue gun.

Once I had the face finished, I stacked them onto one another and held them in place with Shish Kabob skewers. They worked quite well. Though if you are going to move it I would have some help. It was very heavy and you don't want any piece falling off the skewers.

I created his coal buttons out of polymer clay as well. I adhered them with the glue gun also.

The scarf I purchased at the Dollar Tree.

The arms are obviously tree branches. My son and I found them on the ground near the local woods on base. We didn't want to tear into an existing tree branch.

I had originally purchased a top hat at JoAnns but I felt it just didn't look right on it. So I was thrilled to find a paper mache' one at Michaels.

Since it was brown, I painted it with black acrylic paint. I then decorated it with items from the previous hat, Dollar Tree garland, and PK-1340 Clearly Autumn Quart Jar Contents

For the pine cones, I stamped them first with Versamark ink and used a MS black embossing powder. Then I colored them in with a Cocoa Brown Copic Marker.

Well that is my project!! I hope you have been inspired!! Thank you so much for stopping by!!

Plus, don't forget about the amazing sale going on right now over at Peachy Keen Stamps!!! You can shop right out of the comfort of your own home and get amazing prices on these wonderful stamps!!

Happy Anniversary!

Today, I have a card to share with all of you that I created for my grandparents 60th Anniversary!!! Wow, isn't that amazing? I've been married for only 7 years and I hope that our marriage has that same longevity! Though how my grandma put up with my grandpa all these years, I'll never know! Hee, hee! :)

The card base is 4 3/4" by 4 3/4".

The birds come from Peachy Keen's Love Birds and Sentiments.

The bird bath comes from PKSC-April-2012

The sentiment comes from PKSC-January-2013

The corners comes from an old EK Success Punch. Sorry I don't know the name any longer.

I colored the banner, birds, bird bath, and doily with Copic Markers.

To make the doily and banner sparkle, I used Versamark ink with Ranger Holographic Embossing powder

The faux jewels came from Michaels.

The little heart comes from My Creative Time.

So that is my project and I hope you've been inspired! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful holiday!!

Peachy Keen Stamp Challenge 13-46: Anything Goes

Hello and welcome to another great Peachy Keen Stamp Challenge.

Today is........Anything Goes!!!

Create a project using Peachy Keen Stamps. Anything goes! We'll be awarding "TOP PEACH" to the player who uses their Peachy Keen Stamps this week and our two runner ups will receive a spiffy badge to display on their blog.

 -Design must be new
 - Link up by 11/20 - 11:59 pm EST

So here is what I have created for today's challenge.....

I picked up all these wooden spools at A.C. Moore and JoAnns. Thank goodness for coupons or they would have been a bit pricy. I recommend looking online to see if you can find a better deal.

I covered each one with paper from Colorbok: Homespun Signature Collection. Then glued them one by one onto the wreath.

I stamped and paper pieced the sewing machine from PKSC-November 2013  using the same paper line. Though you can't see it very well, I added a real needle to the sewing machine. I also took the smallest wooden spool I had, cut it in half, and added pink floss string around it.

I also stamped and paper pieced the little spool from PKSC-November 2013 and added the same pink floss around it. I then added two push pins to embellish it.

The burlap ribbon that holds the wreath up and the bow are from Michael $1 bins.

So that is my project and I hope I've inspired you!!!
Thanks for stopping by and please visit the PKS blog to see more inspiration for this week's challenge. So looking forward to all of your creations!!

Thankful Blog Hop

Hello and welcome, Emily here at Creations of An Army Wife. I'm so excited to be to using my Peachy Keen Stamps along with the wonderful cut files from Pretty Papers, Pretty Ribbons!! Lisa has so many cute files as well as digital papers and stamps!! So please be sure to check her store out!!

So let me share with you what I created for today's hop......

I decided that this cut file would go along great with a thankful tree. So I had my oldest son help me to pick out some PK sentiments that would help convey what blessings we have and are very thankful for. My son was persistent that we have one that said "Bugs". He is right, we do need to be thankful for bugs because they help bring the beautiful flowers. :)

I wanted to add some pictures of my two boys as well as my baby girl that will be born next year. It may be hard to tell but that is her head shot from my 19 weeks ultrasound. My son said I couldn't leave out my fur babies either. So we added Oliver and Orion as well!

How gorgeous is this Pretty Papers, Pretty Ribbons title? I just love it!! Perfect for your fall projects.

Happy Veterans Day!

Today is a day that we take a moment to be thankful for those that serve our country in all branches of the military. Though please don't only thank these men and women just today, thank them year round. They go or have gone through a lot to serve our great country and many have paid with their lives to give us our freedom. Also, thank their families as well!

In honor of today, I have created an Army soldier shape card. I wish they would have had a Naval-man also.

The army soldier is a cut file from SVG Cutting Files.

The soldier's face is from Peachy Keen: Groom Faces.

The sentiment and yellow ribbons are from Pink by Designs: Our Troops.

The little stars were stamped from Peachy Keen: In the Kitchen.

Paper from Recollections and The Paper Studio.

I would love to take a moment to thank the veterans in my family.

Thank you to my husband who is still currently serving in the Army.

Thank you to my Father who served in the Navy.

Photo: Happy Birthday, Sailor!! Hope you have a great day!! Gavin doesn't have school today! We could Skype a bit if your free at lunch! Love ya!

Thank you to my Grandpa Bain for serving in the Army.

Thank you to my uncle who served in the Air Force. Thank you to my father-in-law and brother-in-law for serving in the Army. As well as several cousins who have served or are still serving.

Photo: From us to all veterans, THANK YOU for your service!!

Peachy Keen November Release Challenge: Up-Cycle

Hi, today I have a project to share for Amy's PKS November release challenge
The Challenge
Up-cycle something in your home (canister, cereal box, paper roll, etc.) into a Holiday decoration for your home.
You DO need to use Peachy Keen Stamps for your project in order for your entry to be considered for the prize.
To enter your project, simply reply to this thread with a comment that includes the URL of your blog post or gallery upload.  We will randomly choose 1 lucky winner from all of the entries who will receive a $25 Peachy Keen Stamps Gift Certificate!!  WooHoo!  You have until Tuesday, November 12th at Midnight to enter your project for a chance to win.  We’ll announce the winner here on Wednesday, November 13th.

Here is what I came up with! A homemade Mason Jar Snow Globe! I just adore this little snowman from the new stamp set called Picture Snow Day!

I found a great tutorial from Our Best Bites on how to make one. I just Peachy-ied mine instead of using a photograph! I think this little snow man was a great choice for it.

I found my little mason jar, the mini tree, and light pole at the dollar tree. Of course, all for a dollar each. I used Creatology glitter and Wilton Glycerin.

I didn't have a laminator and so I took my little snow people to Staples to have it done. It cost $1.57 for one small sheet.

I was going to have two made but I learned the hard way that if you cut too closely to the sealed edge of the snow person that the water will seep onto the paper ruining your image. I had made up the little snow lady as well but she got water logged. :(

I finished by hot gluing each piece onto the bottom of the lid and screwed it onto the jar as tight as I could get it. Then I added the ribbon to cover up the lid and a snowflake accent to the bow. Instant snow globe. Please check out her tutorial! It is so easy to follow and has so many great photos!! I've been wanting to make one of these for a while but hadn't found the right tutorial and her's is great!!

Thanks for stopping and hope you will join along in our release challenge fro the month of November. Mel also has a great challenge as well. Create a treat bag using the colors GREEN and ORANGE, and use at least one button.

Peachy Keen November 2013 Stamp Release: Sneak Peeks Day #4

Hi!! I'm excited to share with you my sneak peek creations from this fabulous new Peachy Keen release.

My first card was a new adventure for me! I actually sewed!! I bought a sewing machine at a garage sale this summer and just now got it out to try my hand at sewing on a card.

I stamped and paper pieced each part of the quilt as well as all of the images.Once I glued them all together, I ran the quilt through my Cuttlebug using a Paper Lace 5x7 embossing folder. This quilt background stamp is so fun to work with! You are going to love it!!

I finished by sewing on the background paper, added photo corners, and faux chunky pearls. I didn't do too bad for my first time sewing. I think!! :)

My second card, I created a snow shaker card! How cute is this little snowman from Picture Snow Day!! I love, love, love him!!

I first used a cut file to create this fun snow globe. Then I stamped and paper pieced the adorable little snowman and snow flake. I colored parts of him in with Copic Markers. I put glitter on the snow flake but unfortunately it doesn't show in the picture.

For the background of the snow globe, from a new background stamp called Wiggle Stitch. I stamped it first with Versamark ink and then used a pearl embossing powder on it. I stamped it as well on the globe bottom but used a silver embossing powder this time.

I used an acetate paper along with Michaels glitter to create the snow globe affect. Then I finished it off by adding the sentiment from Picture Snow Day, faux pearls, and MS punch branches.

Thank for stopping by!! I hope you've enjoyed my sneak peeks. Kathy has come up with some amazing stamps once again!! Perfect for the upcoming holidays and season. Please be sure to check out the rest of the Peachy Keen DT creations here at the Peachy Keen Blog Community page! They are amazing!

We'll party throughout the day with chances to win prizes, and we'll have some wonderful challenges for you to play along with for a chance to win as well! We'd love for you to join us for all the FUN! Our DT has some super cute creations to share and of course there will be challenges and prizes, too!!
