Happy Thanksgiving!!

Happy Thanksgiving!! I have a cute card to share featuring an adorable file from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons. I just got some new Peachy Keen Stamps faces and couldn't wait to use them on one of Lisa's amazing files for the Happy Holidays challenge

The cute PPPR file is called Turkey Costume. Isn't it just the cutest? Before I pieced the cut file together, I inked the edges with coordinating Memento inks. I omitted the eyes and used a cute face from Peachy Keen Stamps: PK-1560 Raggedy Doll, Teddy, and Bird Face Assortment. I was so glad that Kathy released this set!! I've always wanted the original Rag Doll and Teddy Bear face assortment, however it has been retired for quite some time. I love her revised version!! I colored the eyes in with a Copic marker and added white gel accents to the cut file.

I added some little leaves to the sides of the card using a cute leaf die from My Creative Time's original version of Piles of Smiles. I inked the edges of the leaves with the same coordinating Memento Inks.

I finished the card by adding several gold mini sequins.

Thank you so much for stopping by!!

Hope you have a wonderful day!!

My Creative Time: 49th Edition Release: Blog Hop

Hi, and welcome to the My Creative Time: 49th Edition Release Blog Hop.

If you have made it here from Cindy's blog then you are in the right place. If you have just stopped by or have gotten lost along the way please head on over to Emma's Blog for the full hop order.

Today I am showcasing the fun new Be Your Best Selfie Stamp Set with the fun little Smash book page I created.

A few years ago we did some fun Valentines for my son's preschool class. The ones where it looked like he was holding a lollipop or a flower. Anyway, I was going through some of our pictures last week and I found some extras. I thought the pictures would be so fun to scrap with the new frame from the Be Your Best Selfie Stamp Set

I knew I also wanted to include the look of him holding onto the flower. Emma's flower stem from the Stitched Pretty Flowers and Leaves Die Set worked perfectly for this!! I really love how this turned out! So thankful we had leftovers to scrap and that Emma's stamps/dies made it a cinch to do so!!

My Creative Time: 49th Edition Release: Sneaky Peeks Day 4

Hi and welcome to day 4 of sneak peeks for the My Creative Time: 49th Edition Release. Today we are showcasing the fun new Stitched Pop-Up Pieces Dies. They are so much fun to work with!! You are going to love making pop-up cards with these new dies.

I first cut the pattern paper out using the Stitched 4x6 Journal Die. I folded it in half and then used the new Stitched Pop-Up Pieces Dies to create the pop-up piece on the pattern paper cut out. I then matted it with some blue card stock.

I used the Light the Candles Stamp & Die Set to cut out all the pieces to the adorable little cupcake. The eyes were stamped from the You Make Life Sweet Stamp Set and the bowtie was from the You Had Me At Meow Stamp Set. I added white gel pen stitching to the eyes and the cherry. I also added Glossy Accents on them both as well. Then I adhered the cupcake onto the pop-up piece on the card.

I embellished the back of the pattern paper with a banner from the Stitched Party Dies. I added the fun blue scallop strip and the pink stitched strip to the front of the pattern paper using dies form the Fun Vertical Greetings Stamp Set (Revised). I then stamped the sentiment from the Mixed Just For You Stamp Set onto a Vintage Stitched Label Die cut. I embellished it with two little stars from the 4x4 Journal Die and More.

My Creative Time: 49th Edition Release: Sneaky Peeks Day 3

Hi and welcome to day 3 of sneak peeks for the My Creative Time: 49th Edition Release. Today we are showcasing the fabulous new Date Night Stamp Set and the wonderful new Popcorn Background Stamp set.

When I saw these stamp sets I automatically thought of the Stitched Treat Sleeve Die. I knew it would look like the perfect popcorn bag with the right paper. Luckily, I found this striped paper at Michaels and it was perfect for my project idea.

I first cut out two of the Stitched Treat Sleeve in the red and white striped paper.  I cut off the front side of one of them and adhered the rest of it onto the backside of the other one. Then I adhered the other striped sleeve together to create the popcorn bag look and to make a slot to slip a bag of microwave popcorn in it. The regular popcorn bags will not fit but the mini 100 calorie bags fits perfectly!

I cut out the black card stock Stitched Belly Band and embellished it with the fun film strip from the new Date Night Stamps Set. I then cut out the cute Stitched Fun Tickets and added the sentiment also from the Date Night Stamps Set to them. I embellished the tickets with the adorable little stars from the 4x4 Jornal Die & More Die Set.

I had to add a few of the fun dies and stamps that are also from the Date Night Stamps Set. For the tickets and the film marker, I stamped them with Versamark Ink and Recollection's Black Embossing Powder. Then I cut them out with the coordinating dies. I cut out the film reel and added a circle behind it from the Build A Banner Stamp Set to look like film on it.

My Creative Time: 49th Edition Release: Sneaky Peeks Day 2

Hi and welcome to day 2 of sneak peeks for the My Creative Time: 49th Edition Release. Today, we are showcasing the fun new Be Your Best Selfie Stamp Set

For my white card base, I used the Stitched Square Dies Inside and Out. Then I cut out another smaller square using the same dies in a light aqua blue card stock.

I cut out the fun selfie frame using the die from the new Be Your Best Selfie Stamp Set. I then stamped on the red stripes using the new Stripey Background Stamp. I adhered a piece of acetate paper on the back of the selfie frame for my shaker part of the card. I then added foam tape all around the edges to create a border. I turned it upside down and added my Christmas colored sequins to it. I set it aside to work on my background of the shaker.

I first stamped on parts of the sentiment onto the red card stock using the Belly Band Sentiments Stamp Set. I stamped them on using Versamark Ink along with Recollection's Snow Embossing Powder. I used another die from the Be Your Best Selfie Stamp Set to cut out the "#selfie" and then adhered in between my embossed sentiment.

The adorable little doggy comes from the Christmas Doggy & More Stamps Set (Revised). I stamped and paper pieced his little hat also from this set as well as his scarf from the Snow buddies Stamp Set (Revised). I colored in the stripes of his scarf using a Copic marker. I added glossy accents to his nose and eyes. I finished his look with adding Clear: Wink Of Stella to the white on his hat (even though you can't tell in the photo). I added my shaker window to the rest of the card and then adhered him onto the bottom corner of the card.

I wanted to embellish the top of the card as well. So I cut out two holly leaves using a die from the Boughs of Holly Stamp Set. For the berries, I used the Holiday Tags Stamp & Die Set. I added Clear: Wink of Stella and Glossy Accents to the berries as well.

My Creative Time: 49th Edition Release: Sneaky Peeks Day 1

Hi and welcome to day one of sneak peeks for the My Creative Time: 49th Edition Release. We are sneaking the fabulous Stripey Background and the adorable  Hey Sweetie Stamp Set (Freebie) today

When I saw these adorable little sweets, I thought they would looks so cute in a candy jar. So I just knew I had to combine the cute sweets, the awesome new background, and the Stitched Chunky Jar on a card.

For the dark blue, white, and pink card stock mats, I used the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies to cut them outNext, I used the wonderful new Stripey Background on the pink card stock cut out. I stamped the stripes on it using Versamark Ink along with Recollection's Gold Embossing powder. I just love how the gold pops off of the pink. I adhered all of my card stock mats together and then onto the Kraft card stock base.

I used the Stitched Chunky Jar Dies to cut out the jar, the topper, and the handle. I cut the jar out of a light blue card stock. I wanted it to stand out against the white card stock. I cut the topper out of the pink card stock and then stamped the gold stripes on it as well. I cut the handle out of the dark blue card stock and then cut off the top.

I stamped the little sweets from the Hey Sweetie Stamp Set onto the dark blue card stock also using Versamark Ink along with Recollection's Gold Embossing powder. I then proceeded to cut them out with the coordinating dies. I adhered them in the jar.

I finished this simple card by adding the sentiment also from the Hey Sweetie Stamp Set  just above the little jar.

My Creative Time: Thoughtful Thursday

Hi, today is Thoughtful Thursday over at the My Creative Time Blog. I have a simple card to share that I created with a few of my favorite MCT products.

I first cut out my pattern paper using the Stitched Rectangular Frame Die. I thought it looked like wall paper. I then cut out all my flower petals using the Flower Petal Dies. I adhered the petals together and then added a flower center to each one that was cut out using the Stitched Pretty Flowers and Leaves Dies. I put glossy accents on the flower centers and then sprinkled them with clear glitter. I set them aside to dry while I worked on my vase.

I cut the vase out in two different card stocks using the Stitched Chunky Jar Dies. I used the surfboard from the Surf's Up Stamp Set to cut down the aqua jar to look like water in the vase and then adhered it onto the white card stock jar.

I used the coordinating flower die from the My Thoughts Are With You Stamp Set  to create my flower stems in the vase. Before I added my flowers, I added a few leaves also from the Stitched Pretty Flowers and Leaves Dies onto the card to make them look like a flower arrangement. Then I added my pretty flowers to make the look complete.

I finished my card by adding the sentiment also from My Thoughts Are With You Stamp Set onto a die cut from the Vintage Stitched Label Die.

MCT: Manly Monday

Hi, today is Manly Monday over on the My Creative Time Blog. This assignment made me automatically think of the adorable dinosaur from Prehistoric Holiday

For my card base and my background mats, I used Stitched Squares Inside and Out dies. Then I layered a piece of scrap I had with brown card stock and adhered it to the center.

I then used the Stitched Starburst dies to cut out the brown starburst. I layered a circle on the starburst that was cut out using the Bunch of Fun Circle dies

Next, I stamped the adorable little dinosaur and cut him out with the coordinating die from the Prehistoric Holiday stamp set. I then used a white gel pen to color in the spots on his  body and then I colored them in with a Copic marker. I also added white gel pen accents to his eyes. I finished him by adding Glossy Accents to his spots and eyes. I then stamped on the the "RAWR" sentiment from the same set and then adhered the dino onto the card.

I finished the card by adding the fake stitching to the top and bottom of the card using a die from the Too Cute To Spook stamp set. Now I have a fun card to give away to a special little boy in my life.

Happy Birthday to You!!

Hi, today I have a fun robot card to share! I created this card using the adorable Birthday Robot SVG File from Sanqunetti Design.

For my card base and background mats, I used My Creative Time: Stitched Squares Inside and Out dies

I then cut out all the pieces to the adorable Birthday Robot SVG File. I used a combination of Peachy Keen Stamps: Sweet and Silly Faces and Peachy Keen Stamps: Happy Fall Faces (Retired) to create his cut little robot face! I also added white gel pen accents and glossy accents to his eyes.

I wanted his belly to look like a screen, so I stamped on the sentiment using Versamark ink and Recollection's Snow Embossing Powder. The sentiment comes from Peachy Keen Stamps: PKSC-30 May 2014 Stamp of the month (Retired).

I also added some stars to him using My Creative Time: 4x4 Journal Die and More along with the Thanks for the Lift stamp set. I just used a font on my computer to cut out the number four.

Before I added the cute little robot, I tied some American Crafts Twine to the mats and embellished it with two more stars using My Creative Time: 3 Star Stitched Dies.

I finished the card by adding a couple of enamel dots to the corner that I made.

So please head on over to Sanqunetti Design to purchase her wonderful graphics and svg files. You can also find her wonderful creations on the Facebook Group: Sanqunetti Design Club.

MCT: Made In Minutes

Hi, today is Made in Minutes over on the My Creative Time blog. I have a cute and super easy to make gift card holder I created using some fabulous MCT products.  Plus, I got to use my scraps that I've had sitting around on it. Always nice to use them up.

I first cut out the Embossed Gift Holder out of Recollection's Kraft card stock. I then cut out a layer of the blue card stock and then a layered on the We R Memory Keepers' Happy Camper pattern paper.

I then first stamped and cut out the cute little ice cream cone using the coordinating die from the You Make Life Sweet Stamp Set. I then used more dies from this set to cut out the ice cream and embossed cone layers. Before, I adhered them onto my original stamped ice cream image, I stamped on the adorable little face also from this set. Once I had all the pieces together, I added a cute little bow to the cone from the You Had Me At Meow Stamp Set. I added a bit of Wink of Stella (clear) to the bow and added white gel pen stitching to the eyes. I then added glossy accents to the bow and the eyes.

I stamped the sentiment on the gift card holder using Fun Vertical Greetings (Revised) Stamp Set. I used Versamark Ink along with Recollection's Snow Embossing Powder to make it stand out better on the Kraft card stock. I also added a small circle to the gift card holder that was cut out from the Stitched Pretty Flowers and Leaves Dies. Then I finished the card by adding four silver sequins to the card.
