PPPR: Color Inspiration Challenge: You Rock!

Hi, today I have a card to share that I created for the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons: Color Inspiration Challenge. For this challenge, I used the adorable 80's Girl cutting file

When I saw the pretty colors, I just knew I wanted to use the cute little 80's Girl cutting file. For her face, I used Peachy Keen Stamps: The Moodies Face Assortment. I colored the eyes with a Copic marker and chalked her cheeks with Inkadinakado Chalk Ink. I added a cute little heart to the bow from My Creative Time: You Had Me At Meow. I added Glossy Accents to her shoes, earrings, and heart.

For the base of my card and the American Crafts: Everyday pattern paper background mat, I used the My Creative Time: Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies. For the Recollection's pink paper mat, I used the More Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies

I cut out a pink strip using the My Creative Time: Stitched Belly Band Dies. I then stamped on the sentiment from Pink by Design: Sweet Grams using Versamark Ink along with Recollection's Black Embossing Powder.

I finished the card by adding some bright pink sequins.

Thank you so much for stopping by!!

MCT: Favorite Die of the Month: Baby Word Die

Hi, today is the Favorite Stamp or Die of the Month over on the My Creative Time Blog. This month Emma has pick the "Baby Word Die" as her favorite!! If this adorable little die has been on your wish list you can find it here at a discount price! This set will be on sale the rest of January!

The sale will end January 31st, 2016 @ 12:00 a.m. PST! So you'll want to snag this up soon at a great price.

I decided to create a cute little tag featuring the "Baby Word Die" along with some other wonderful MCT products!!

I first traced the onesie die from Hello Baby Stamp Set onto Kraft card stock. Then I used a White Gel pen to create faux stitching around the edges. Next, I used the same die to cut out the gingham pattern paper onesie out.

I stamped the cute little giraffe also from the Hello Baby Stamp Set and then cut it out with the coordinating die. I colored the giraffe with Copic markers and chalked his cheeks with Inkadinkado chalk ink. I gave him a little bow that was stamped and paper pieced from the You Had Me At Meow Stamp Set.

I layered the giraffe on the onesie using Stitched Starburst Dies for the vellum starburst and Bunch of Fun Circle Dies for the white card stock circle.

I then cut the coordinating pieces of the onesie and the word "baby" out of white card stock. I colored them with a Copic marker and then added them to the onesie. I then stamped on the word "Precious" using the Teeny Tag Greetings. I added clear Wink of Stella to the "baby" word die cute as well.

I finished the little tag by adding a pretty bow at the top along with sequins to look like snaps on the onesie. This will look so cute on a present or gift bag.

Products used:

Recollection's Card Stock
Recollection's Green Gingham Pattern Paper
Recollection's Vellum
Copic Markers

My Creative Time: 51st Edition Release: Sneak Peeks Day 3

Hi, and welcome to day 3 of sneak peeks for the My Creative Time: 51st Edition Release. Today we are sneaking the fabulous new Cute Tag Set. You are going to love these new tags!!

When I saw these new tags I saw them in a couple different ways. For my first idea, I thought it looked like a present with a big bow on top. I cut out two of the inside tag layers in blue and orange card stock. I then stamped the Stripey Background Stamp II onto the blue card stock and cut off the top of the tag. I then proceeded to cut off the bottom of the orange tag. I glued them onto the outside layer tag and added on a piece for the top of the present that was cut out using the Vintage Stitched Label Die. Then I used the smallest banner from the Trio Stitched Banner Dies to create the ribbon on the side of the present.

I stamped the adorable little dinosaur from the Prehistoric Holidays Stamp Set and cut him out with a coordinating die. I colored the spots in with a Copic marker. I accented them with a white Gelly Roll pen and clear Wink of Stella. I then stamped his little party hat and colored it in with Copic markers as well. I then cut the hat out with a coordinating die and added some Wink of Stella to it.
I stamped the birthday sentiment onto a smaller tag using the Teeny Tag Greetings. Then I tied it around the tag using American Crafts Twine.  I pop-dotted the dinosaur and added him to the tag.

I finished by adding silver sequins to the tag.

Products used:

Recollection's Card Stock
Versamark Ink
Recollection's Snow Embossing Powder
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
Copic Markers
White Gelly Roll Pen
American Crafts Twine
Silver Sequins

The second way I saw this tag was that it look as though a flower was on the top. I created the base of the flower by cutting out one tag and then flipping the die to cut out the other side. Then I layered on the petals, leaves, and flower center from the Stitched Pretty Flowers and Leaves Dies on the base flower. I added a bit of clear Wink of Stella to the leaves.

I stamped on the sentiment using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, also from the new tag set. Then I stamped the little floral image from the Cute Tag Set.  I colored it with Copic markers and cut it out with a coordinating die. I added clear Wink of Stella to it as well.

I finished the tag by adding a couple of clear Pearlized sequins from my stash.

Products Used:

Bazzill 'sRed Card Stock
Recollection's White,  Green,  and Kraft Card Stock
Memento's Tuxedo Black Ink
Copic Markers
Wink of Stella: Clear

I used the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies for the base of my card as well as the pattern paper mat. I created a mat for the pattern paper using light yellow card stock and then frayed edges with a pair of scissors. I added a cute little silver glittery paperclip to the corner that was cut out using an adorable die from the new set.

I cut out a light yellow card stock post-it-note and then added the sentiment, which are both from the Be Awesome Stamp set. I stamped on the sentiment using Versamark Ink along with Recollection's Black Embossing Powder. Then I used the washi tape die from the same set to cut out two strips. I added the post-it-note die cut and then made it look like it was taped on with the cut out washi tape strips.

I added two little hearts to the sentiment that were cut out using the heart glasses die from the You Had Me At Meow Stamp Set. I wanted to give them a bit of sparkle so I added Clear: Wink of Stella. I finished the card by adding some Pearlized White sequins.

My Creative Time: Tag It Tuesday: You're A Hit Valentine

Hi, today is Tag It Tuesday over on the My Creative Time blog. I have a cute little tag to share that I created to go along with a baseball themed valentine. Isn't that little boy so cute? I sure think so!!

I first stamped the little boy from the You're A Hit Valentine Stamp Set and colored him in with Copic markers. I had masked the face and then added a Peachy Keen Stamps: PK-1580 Wintertime Buddies face to him. I chalked the cheeks and colored the eyes in with a Copic marker. I then stamped and cut out the cute little baseball heart with the coordinating dies. I pop dotted it onto the original heart for dimension.

I stamped the fun Stripey Background Stamp onto the front layer of the Just Tag Dies. I then cut out a vellum Vintage Stitched Label and stamped on the sentiment, also from the You're A Hit Valentine Stamp Set. I did so using Versamark ink along with Recollection's Black Embossing Powder. I added the label to the front tag layer and then accented it with two hearts that were cut from the heart glasses die from the You Had Me At Meow Stamp Set. I then added the back red card stock Just Tag to the striped background layer.

Once my tag was put together, I added the cutie patootie little boy to the tag. I then added a little soft toy baseball to a gift bag and then tied on the adorable baseball tag using ribbon from my stash. I then finished by adding a bit of Wink of Stella to the little red hearts. A fun little treat and a great alternative to candy.
