Hi, today is Manly Monday over on the My Creative Time Blog. I have created a fun boy's birthday card to share today.

The little dog is cut out from the Loyal Friends Stamp Set.  The little party hat he is wearing is stamped and cut out from the Tweet Me Stamp Set.  A little Peachy face was added to the dog with white gel pen accents and chalk ink on the cheeks. The little cupcake from the Mini Lolly Add-Ons was paper pieced and colored in with Copic Markers. The little dog and cupcake were both added to the frame from the 4x4 Journal Die & More set. The sentiment was stamped onto the bottom of the frame from the Make A Wish Stamp Set using embossing ink and powder.  The frame was then embellished with a little banner from the Stitched Party Dies.  The card stock mat and pattern paper mats were cut out using the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies and the More Stitched Rectangular Dies.  They were added to the white card stock card base and then the frame was added to the mats. Glossy Accents was added to the little cupcake and then it was sprinkled with a bit of glitter.

My Creative Time: Tag It Tuesday

Hi, today is Tag It Tuesday over on the My Creative Time Blog. I have a tag to share that would be great for a momma with a precious new baby. Though this tag would also be nice for Mother's day, you would just have to change the sentiment to something more suitable.

The tag die layers were cut out using dies from the Cute Tag Sentiments Stamp & Die Set. The sentiment was stamped onto the white tag die layer and then it was popped up with some foam paper.  A bit of pink tulle was ran through the tag holes and tied off with some twine.

The large flower was cut out from the Rolled Flower Dies. The two smaller flowers were cut out from the Jr. Rolled Flower Dies. They were each embellished with leaves from the Stitched Pretty Flowers & Dies. The finished flowers were hot glued onto the tag and then a bit of pink tulle was glued in between them.

To finish off the tag it was embellished with some shiny large gold sequins. Now it is ready to add to a baby gift for momma and her new precious bundle.

Products Used:

Pink Tulle
Gold Sequins

My Creative Time: Trending Now: Watercolor

Hi, today is Trending Now over on the My Creative Time Blog. The trend we are working with is watercoloring. This was my first time using watercolors for a card and I love the way the background turned out!!

The watercolor paper mat was cut out using the More Stitched Rectangular Dies.  Three watercolors were used to create the background from a generic watercolor set that was purchased at Michaels. After the mat was dried, a white watercolor was speckled onto it. It was then matted with a black card stock that was cut out using the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies

A small white frame was cut using the More Stitched Rectangular Dies and then the sentiment was stamped onto it from the Dream Bigger Stamp Set. The frame was layered with some foam paper and matted with vellum paper. The mini butterfly die cuts were cut out of some left over watercoloring and layered onto the card. Then to finish off the card, a few white pearl sequins were added.

Products Used:

Artist's Loft Watercolor Set
Artist's Loft Paint Brush
Canson Watercolor Paper
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
