My Creative Time: 67th Edition Release: Sneak Peeks Day 2

Hi and welcome to day 2 of sneak peeks for the My Creative Time: 67th Edition Release. Today we are sneaking the new set call Sea You Soon. This set is so adorable!! I just love the little turtle!!

The little turtle, the fish, and coral were all stamped and cut out with the coordinating dies from the Sea You Soon Stamp Set.  Each image was colored in with Copic markers. The sand area was cut out using one of the dies from the More Stitched Edges. Then it was stamped with the waves stamp from the Sea You Soon Stamp Set and the edges were inked with the same brown ink. The sentiment also from this new set, was stamped onto it with embossing ink and it was topped with black embossing powder.

The Stitched Square Dies were used to cut out a square Kraft mat using the largest die. The mat was then stamped with the Grainy Wood Background Stamp. Then a circle was cut out of the mat using the More Stitched Circle Dies.  Another piece of card stock was stamped with the same background stamp and a smaller circle was cut out using the same circle dies. The circles and the mat were glued together to give the look of a porthole window. To finish the look, the black jewels were glued all around the small circle.

To create the underwater ocean background, another white mat was cut out using the Stitched Square Dies.  Then it was inked with three distress inks and water was sprinkled onto to create the look of bubbles or things floating in the water. Once it dried, the sand area was added to inked background at the bottom and then the whole thing was added to the back of the stamped Kraft mat. Then the little images were glued onto the it. The little turtle was pop dotted in the center to really make him pop.
